    I thought this hat would be awesome because I have big, curly hair & my other beanie is way small - it always works its way up so my ears aren't covered. However, this hat is gigantic. When I pulled it down it completely covered my eyes. It still had extra material which formed sort of a puckered point at the top of my head.

    Nice hat but feels a little big, you have to roll it up so it doesn't cover your eyes which defeats the purpose of the ear flaps. I bought it as a gift for my husband, and he says it works okay.

    I bought one for me and one for my husband - the one for me went back because it was just too big. But it was just what my husband wanted for cold weather fishing - he could wear a baseball cap underneath it for the sun's glare, and still be warm and toasty while fishing.

    Wore this to shovel the drive at -13 degrees F (-30 degrees F windchill) and it worked great because of the lower extensions to cover the ears. Completely windproof. Now I need a balaclava though because my face was frozen.
