The material is pleasantly fuzzy on the inside, and it felt so good when I tried it on, I wore it when it really wasn't cold enough for an underlayer this warm (only in the 20s). I'm sure I'll find some other way to make it useful if we don't have colder weather.

Great fit, nice and long

I've had 3 sets of tops and bottoms that I've been using for several years. All 3 are still in great shape and I was happy to see they are still being made and still as comfortable. They keep you warm and dry but are soft like cotton.

Normally, I wear a size M (wickers, hot chillys, etc) and the fit is just right. This is the first top I have bought from Kenyon, so maybe their sizing is just different. I have broad shoulders and usually a small is too small in the shoulders, so I ordered this top in a M. Generally it is just too big all around, but especially in the torso, considering it is labeled as "trim fit". The neckline feels weird too, but it may just be that overall it is too big for me. For the price, it isn't really worth sending it back, I may give it to a friend and try ordering the small instead. I got the matching pants and they fit well. The fabric is nice and soft, feels like it would be warm, but I only tried it on, I haven't worn it out in the cold.

The shirt does what it's supposed to. All would be great except the arm length. If your arms are on the shorter side, you'll be fine. I'm 5'9" with average length arms - rarely is anything too short. These are a good 2-3 inches from my wrist, making the cuff a bit tight as the forearm is larger where the cuff sits. I'd guess it fits like a petite would.

It's hard to find any plus size outdoor clothes and the sizes vary dramatically. The 2x I bought was very wide, but also short. Now, I myself am wide and short, but this was a little much. Because it's so wide and baggy, it doesn't hold my body heat in well. Also one sleeve is too short. However, it was the only option in a plus size I could find, so I give them credit for even offering it.
