I ordered a womens small for my daughter -- but they fit me, her father. It says closeout, not 2nds, so I'm not sure what's going on. I am not a fan of the feel of the fabric either. It reminds me very much of the first generation polypropylene; itchy and uncomfortable.

As others have noted, these pants have a strange fit. In back, the waistband is at the natural waist, while in front it is considerably higher. I've tried wearing them backwards, and still the front is high, so I guess they must have cut the front and back the same, even though women generally stick out more to the rear. The fabric is comfortable and warm enough, and the pants are still wearable. I had no complaints about the length -- but I'm only 5 foot 2.
