Lighter weight than I expected for "mid-weight", but with the STP savings it was a good value. Given how kids outgrow things, I don't want to overspend on clothing. My daughter is 54" tall, 70 pounds; son is 53" tall and 62 pounds. The small fit both almost perfectly. But they both have skinny legs ...

I ordered the XS (5-6) for a nephew who is 5 and small for his age. These are so tiny, the waist (which isn't very stretch) looks like it would fit a 1 year old, but the legs, of course, are much too long for that. In fairness, I haven't given them to him yet, so I don't know for a fact that they won't fit. But if they do, they will fit like a panty hose, 'kay, ya'll? I'll report back if I turn out to be totes wrong on this.

size XS would be ok for 5T. I ordered this size for my very slim average height 6-yr old son and they were VERY tight and also short.
