The Keynon Polarskins were a gift to my daughter. We ski Araphoe Basin which can have piercing gusts of wind and bitter cold. This base layer did its job to keep her warm.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sokotrekker from California on Monday, May 9, 2016The shirt is comfortable and warm, but not the softest as a base layer.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by wrighkar from Denver on Monday, February 9, 2015This top is thick, warm and cozy, no pilling after one wash. It's substantial enough that my kids wear it as a regular shirt but it will work great for those days when a super warm base layer is needed. Excellent buy.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by NW Mom from Seattle on Sunday, November 30, 2014We bought two for my 8yr old son and he absolutely loves them. Too warm to wear to school but perfect for snow and outdoor play!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Roger Dodger from North Carolina on Tuesday, November 25, 2014Like the adult form of this product, these shirts are a staple at my house. In the end they can be worn as a "sweatshirt" in colder weather. I would suggest the use of all THREE weights, lightweight, midweight, and the heavyweight like this item.
Answer I bought 2 polarskin base layer tops in M for my 8 yr old. He is average height and weighs 60#.They are very soft and VERY warm!
I ran into some problems here regarding size myself. In this shirt (I was buying for an 11 yr. old) I ordered a M---he is usually a 10-12. If I remember correctly,
because of sizing problems, I switched to a Terramar shirt---they run true to size. With the Kenyon shirt I expect a Medium would work out. For measurements,
