    I have several of these. They are a bit oversized to be a true base layer, as I would have to go down a size to get it skin tight; but I prefer a zip-T as a mid-layer anyway. I like them enough to wear them for everyday in cooler weather.

    I wore this while XC skiing last weekend, it was great! I was warm when I got hot I was able to unzip to cool off. It was about 12 degress outside and with my shell I was plenty warm.

    This zip neck is perfect with a vest when I am working outdoors, but not overheating if I need to move indoors for a while. Much less bulky than fleece, but nearly as warm. These are 2nds, and mine had a small well-marked hole near the hem. The hole would have been sure to grow with use. I stitched the hole before wearing, and it looks like new. If not for the hole I would rate this five stars.
