    These were purchased for a trip to NZ and given the thick material, assume that they will easily be warm enough teamed with thermals. I am a tall male at 6 foot 7 and these are easily long enough in the legs which is a rarity as so often 'long' sizes are just longer in the crotch, not the legs. The only fault is that the pockets are quite small - other than that, I look forward to keeping warm in these on holiday....
