    I can't wear one-size-fits-all women's hats (too small), and this was still a bit large for me. if you have a lot of hair, it might still work well for a woman, but I think it will probably fit best for a man.

    It works fine, but it is noisy. It is the type of material where if you lightly run your fingers on it you'll get a shiver down your spine. When it is over my ears I can hear if anything touches it. That's annoying, but I don't really regret buying it. I'm sure there are better products out there though.
