This is a very substantial garment - not just a thin layer. Fabric feels almost spongey. I love the fit - I'm a 5'10", 150 lb woman and the size medium is a perfect fit, with adequate length in the arms and the shirt. Washed once and came out exactly as it was before, no shrinkage or misshaping.

They run quite large so order a size down if you want to layer these under something else. I am a size 14-16 and large was a little big. They are nice and long and don't come untucked when bending over. These are IMHO the optimal combo of warmth and breath ability. They are soft and durable with no pilling after multiple wearings. These are really warm and I highly recommend them. The purple is lovely. I also own in black. It is no surprise these are perpetually out of stock in the colder months.

I had to return the first one I ordered in a large because it was way too big. I usually wear a med/large top and wanted to make sure I had room for a layer under this one. The exchange went smoothly and it actually cost me $10 less because it was on sale. The medium is still roomy but it will work for me. This style runs long also.

I am a skier in Montana. Some days on the mountain are extremely cold, but the last time I was skiing I wore this and my ski jacket...it was 8 degrees, and I had to open the vents on my jacket cause I was so hot. It was a nice change considering in the past I have always been so cold. The sizing is a little big so if you want a snug fit order a size down.

I normally wear a L or XL. I bought this XL top for myself and ended up giving it to my husband. I am 5'7 with long arms but these sleeves covered my hands, and the length was more like a tunic on me. My husband is pleased with it...it fits him like any other men's pullover and it is very warm and comfortable.

When I ordered this only came in an off white. The torso is long so will cover a persons butt well. It's soft, fleecy on the inside with a stiffer stretchy outside - I guess maybe to repel wind. Way to beautiful and class to wear hidden under other layers!. I will probably layer something under it and wear this as a top layer around town and maybe at work. I will not take this out into the sheep or duck fields that's for sure! Nice heavy material, well made with a classy look. Runs true to size. Very happy with this purchase, the price and the speed of delivery of the order from STP.
