    I was looking for long underwear in a weight that would work both for active use like biking and "regular" use outdoors in the winter. These are a good weight to do both -- they're light enough to use under biking shorts, but heavy enough to provide warmth as a base layer. The fit is snug without being overly constrictive, the construction is good, and generally these seem as though they're made to last.

    My past "second" purchase defects were barely noticed. These thermals were too tight around the neck and under the arms. I am 5'10'' & 175 lbs with a medium build. No reason a large shouldn't fit comfortably. Otherwise, I liked the feel of the fabric and the looser fit overall. Just can't deal with the tightness/rubbing around my neck and armpits. [...]

    These are great for me. I use them at work, so I can keep the temperature down and save money. Since they are wicking, when I'm working physically, I don't get too sweaty, and when I'm at my desk, they keep me warm. They are not as strechy as traditional long underwear, but they are thinner so they fit under your street clothing better.
