According to the measurements, I should have ordered a large; but I ordered a medium, which fits perfectly. I did not notice any blemishes. I wear them outside and inside when the temperature is in the 20's.

Basic Gear

This was bought for my 6 yr old- and it is too big for me! sending it back... unless your kid has a big head, steer clear

I wanted Balaclavas for my three kids (ages 12, 10, and 7) and for myself and my husband. I agonized over the youth one-size-fits-all or the adult for my kids, based on what other reviewers said. In the end I ordered 3 adults and 2 youths. They ended up all being the same size. Looked exactly the same. To tell them apart, we had to look at the tags, not that it mattered. They all worked fine for our various head sizes, as there is a lot of stretch. A little loose for my 7-year-old, but worked fine with ski goggles.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I've had other neck gaiters for downhill skiing, but while they kept my neck and face warm on the chairlift, on downhill runs the wind cut through the fleece. And, breathing into the gaiter often fogged my goggles. This gaiter is great; wind doesn't get through, and the mesh patch (approx. 1" x 1 1/2") lets me breath easily without fogging.

Not much to say..nice product, keeps the ears warm.

This is a little thicker and warmer than some other clavas. The opening is small, bumping up against the bottom of my sons nose, but that makes it warmer in the cold wind while skiing.

I agree with the other reviewers...what body type did Kenyon use to make these guys? The waist is somewhere around the ribcage, which if you can even get the pants that high, you're awesome! - because the waist line on these pants is for someone who eschews food 24/7. I wear size 0-2 in pants, got these in a small (should have listened to the reviewers, medium might have worked) and no way were those suckers making it past my knees. The fabric also feels a little stiff but probably warm. I figured they'd be good for sleep and around house. What they ended up being great for is the brown box they came in. Returned!
