4.0 out of 5 stars. Made for Hobbits?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Connecticut on Saturday, June 13, 2015I am a knife collector & love the Kershaw brand, especially MIA ones. They use a higher quality blade steel compared to the MIC versions (still great knives). This "mini" skinner should be called "micro" as the knife is sooo small. I have the larger skinner, a nice knife that isn't too small & SCARY sharp. Both knives are sharp enough to shave hairs off your arm easily right out of the package, but being so sharp is a problem with this mini skinner. The size makes it hard to hold unless you have teeny hands. And maybe useful for skinning a small rabbit.
I love Kershaw knives but this one was just to small. A 2" blade with a handle not much bigger? I was going to keep it to add to my collection but decided to get an EDC knife instead. I prefer to carry the same knife daily, one that would be useful for just about anything. Personally, this skinner isn't that knife.
I recommend any Kershaw knife highly, especially ones on sale at STP. You can get a great knife at a great price!
