My favorite chef's knife was made by Kershaw, and I have knives from Wustof, F. Dick, Henckels and Messermeister. When I get ready to chop onions, etc., I reach for the Kershaw.

She hasn't opened it yet, but I can tell from the weight of the package and presentation/packaging that this will be the "keeper" for some time. That inexpensive set just isn't going to cut it relative to this fine product. Got it at a great ST price--may have to buy myself one too!
