Khombu Arctic Zip Winter Boots - Waterproof, Plush Faux-Fur Lining (For Women)

I wear a 9.5 shoe and had to return a different pair of Khombu boots in a size 9 because they were way too small. I bought these in a 10 and they fit perfectly, leaving just enough room for good winter socks. I have a large sidewalk and driveway and also have to clear snow from walkways at work. These boots are perfect for that chore. I have worn them out to run errands - and receive compliments on their style. Because they are a bit heavy, I wouldn't recommend them for extended walking.

Perfect timing they arrived just before the massive storms we have been experiencing. I have worn them daily and haven't even slipped, let alone fallen. Many comments on their great look, and they feel as good as they look. Love the waterproof feature and that it is so easy to shake off accumulated snow.

I ordered these since I needed a new pair of waterproof winter boots. I had my heart set on another pair of Khombu's but I waited too long to purchase them and now I can't find them anywhere in my size. I was specifically looking for white and since these came in that color I bought them. I was a little disappointed with the color since it wasn't a bright white but more of a natural white with a cast of yellow to it. I also read reviews stating that there were issues with the zipper. Some people had problems with the zipper getting stuck, others didn't. I decided to take my chances aaaaand of course I had those very same problems...on one boot but not the other. Because that was the case, I sent them back and ordered the Khombu Highland Suede Pac. It didn't come in white, so I compromised a little there, but it's a lace up boot, really warm and comfortable. If you decided to order these anyway, I also suggest ordering 1 size up. That will give enough room for some thick socks.
