Question “Overview states product is leather w/synthetic upper. Upon receiving same, I attempted to protect leather w/mink oil. Mink oil did not penetrate. Is this boot actually leather, or are you prepared to accept them w/full refund?”

Answer Yes you can. We just returned from a trip to Europe (December, 2010) and it was wet. We did a lot of walking through slush and ankle deep puddles of water. My feet stayed dry and warm. They are as advertised.
