i found these boots great for wearing all winter long. Short enough to stay dry and warm enough to wear outside for a long time. The break in period took about two days but after that, the fit like a glove

I bought these at the beginning of the season as my primary winter boot. Look great, really comfortable. Problematically, about four weeks after purchase, the leather began to crack on the interior side of boots. One became a full on crack in the rubber. Granted, I live in the city, so I walk a lot, but I'm extremely dissatisfied with the boot. Definitely would not recommend.

I love these boots. I bought a pair last winter and they got me through that long, harsh nyc winter with dry/toastie feet. When i pulled them out this year for my september trip to portland, i was disappointed to find two holes where it appeared the rubber had separated from the suede. I immediately contacted sierra trading post and was pleased to hear that they were willing to take them back. rather than get a different pair though, i decided to give these awesome boots a second chance on the notion that the other pair were just a fluke.

inexpensive, but poorly constructed. the rubber tore in my first pair, but even after 3-4 months STP took them back and gave me a new pair. second pair just as poorly made: lacing holes do not line up, cheap laces that will wear quickly. am hoping that the rubber lasts better this time !

Looked like good boots, reviews were decent so I decided to buy these instead of the tried and true Beans (which weren't in stock at the time). Two months into daily use gardening, landscaping, ets one of the boots developed a tear so I am sending back for a refund. I'm buying Beans.

these fit more like a shoe than a boot. recently bought a pair. was unsure whether to buy normal shoe size; i chose my "duck" boot size (whole size smaller than shoe) - with a moderate thorlo sock the fit was too snug, for me. i have to wear my thin cushioned thorlo socks with these. size up, if you prefer thick cushioned heavy socks. went a half-size under my boot size (9). im used to the Trekker (lacrosse) ... it fits like a boot. its here at sierra too. they fit more llike a boot does.
