2.0 out of 5 stars. Cold feet, wet anklesReviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Monday, September 7, 2015I wore these on 5 day ski trip to Breckenridge, Co. For trips of 15-20 min between the condo and the shops, they worked fine. For a 3 hour dog sledding trip in 30 degrees my feet were frozen even with toe warmers and thick wool socks. You could easily feel the cold through the bottom sole's rubber when out playing in the snow or when sledding. The traction was good and my ankles were warm. Please note the laces don't come all the way up to the top of the boot so if you wear skinny jeans and then get in deeper snow it will get clogged in the tops of these boots and make for wet ankles. They ankles weren't an issue in snow pants when the ankle gores were pulled down lower. Overall, these just didn't do the job since my feet were still freezing even with warm socks and toe warmers. I knew quickly I'd have to replace them for our next trip to CO to be comfortable. Luckily, the excellent customer service at STP allowed me to return for a full refund (minus the $6 return shipping) so I won't have a pair of boots in my closet that I won't wear again. (I live in TX so I have no need for snow boots ever here).

4.0 out of 5 stars. BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Minnesota on Tuesday, August 25, 2015The boots are sturdy & look well made. The herringbone pattern in the cloth sides is a nice touch. It hasn't snowed yet so I've been unable to test the warmth. However, I have high hopes for these come winter.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Too light, returnedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Beth from Oaktown from California on Sunday, March 15, 2015Even though the hangtag says these boots are good down to -20, they did not feel like it. I know my feet would have been cold in these in northern Minnesota. Therefore, I returned them. They DID look cute, though.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not worth itVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ana from Boston on Wednesday, March 11, 2015I thought these boots were going to last but they broke after only one month of wearing them on city streets. The loops that hold the laces are falling off and the boots themselves feel extremely cheap. I'm very displeased with my purchase. I would rather buy a more expensive pair and have them last at least through a season.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Disappointing.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Illinois on Friday, March 6, 2015I ordered these boots right before leaving for a ski trip. Within the first hour of wearing them, the seams started coming undone and shortly thereafter, the tongue of the shoe ripped open to reveal the lining. They're not warm at all.
I'll be returning these shortly. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfection!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jaclyn M. from Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, March 4, 2015These were exactly what I was looking for! After a total slip and spill down the NYC subway stairs, I needed something sturdy and slip-resistant without spending hundreds of dollars. I was able to use a 35% off code and get these for a steal - and paid extra for 2-day shipping. They were right on time. Warm, comfortable and sturdy in the brutal NYC snow/slush/rain/ice.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm & dryVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Wednesday, March 4, 2015Great boot for the price. Order 1/2 bigger the insulation makes it hard to wear an thing other than a thin sock. Purchased in black and brown.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Ok but not great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Boston on Wednesday, February 25, 2015I bought these for my mom. I immediately noticed that the shoes were worn before: The bottoms were dirty with a bit wear. I didn't want to return them because I bought them online and it's just too much hassle. My mom said they are warm, which is good, but they don't have good grip on the bottom. When the ground is wet with snow and ice, it could be dangerous. They also don't look as good as they did in the picture, but that's a minor point.
