Khombu Glossy Winter Boots (For Women)

My son wants a pair! Wish they were a little higher. Can't wear them yet in TX, but look forward to trying them out when I visit my daughter in Maine! Great color choices.

These were beautifull boots, but are very heavy an your feet. I needed them to run and walk alot in my dogwalking jobs, but they were just too heavy to move fast in. I was actually worried that they would put too much of a strain on my feet, which bother me occassionally, so i did a return on them.

It has taken me a long time to find shoes that are both WARM and WATERPROOF. These are just what I've been seeking. I love that the fuzzy lining truly runs throughout the interior of the shoe (it's not just for looks at the edge like so many others!). I ordered both my usual size and one size larger to try both and ended up keeping the larger ones for room for wool socks and toe warmers. I gave these shoes only 4 stars because for an absolutely perfect fit, a half size would have been ideal. I've worn them only three times, so I can't comment on the quality issues previous reviewers have experienced with the lacing area. I will say however, that having the slightly too large size makes it tempting to really tighten up those laces because they would otherwise be too wide. I have resisted tugging too hard so I won't yank the laces through the upper. I just wear really thick socks. I finally found these shoes, I want them to last!

I needed shoes for walking around campus in Maine, that wouldn't be too bulky, but would keep my feet warm and dry. These do the trick. Cons - they are a bit heavy. They also seem to run small. I wear an 8, and bought these in an 8, and my toes just hit the end. The heals are a little loose, so it seems to work out somehow - when I walk, they're comfortable. But I do wonder if I should have bought a size up.

I found these shoes to be uncomfortable. There was just too much shoe there. Felt like I was wearing clown shoes. I would have liked them if they were more tailored.
