Thesse are great little in between booties. they are soft and warm. the rounded toes are great, no cramped toes to hurt, i wear sneakers most of the time and to me boots are heavy, clunky things, These are high on your ankle like a sneaker, not too heavy, a good heigh for a light snow, great for those rainy damp days. I would recommend these for everyone.

These boots look to be the perfect solution to my cold feet when I need warmth without higher, heavy snow boots. I ordered a size larger so I could wear my thick, heavy smartwool socks with them. They do feel a bit heavy, but an easy sacrifice for the warmth. I haven't worn them, yet, so I don't know how well they will hold up.

I volunteer as a dog walker for our local humane society. We take the dogs out rain or shine - into wet grass and puddles. I needed something other than my "sports walkers" which get wet quickly. I remembered shoes like these from a previous life in the great white north.
With these shoes, which come only in whole sizes, the size 7's were much too small for my 7 1/2 feet. The 8's were too large BUT - I added a liner to the sole of each boot and a heal holder (what ever they call them) in the right boot and they are so comfy to walk in and work so well for my purpose that I am happy to recommend them. I get lots of comments on them from other walkers who want a pair just like them.
My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that there are no half sizes.
I usually wear a size 8 wide. I bought the size 8 medium. The boots fit my feet comfortably while wearing padded socks. I think you should order a size 8, since you wear a size 7 1/2 with socks.
