Waterproof, nice leather, and they look good for when you need nicer looking footwear. The only problem is the leg opening is way too big, which makes the boot a little sloppy feeling; but does make easy to put on and off. Trousers do cover the opening, so you don't notice when wearing. Just spent 3 days wearing them during big snowstorm in N Cali shoveling drives and roofs. Worked great.

Ohio on Thursday, December 13, 2012I'm a 9 1/2 and a 10 was too big. aside from that, there is a lot of space around the ankle and calf which leads to uncomfortable friction. The seams inside the boot around the ankle are stiff and caused discomfort on the outside ball of my ankle.
