I really like the boots, but the sizing is way off. I wear 10.5-11 in most shoes, so I ordered size 10 in these. They run way too big, every time I walk the boot slips off my heel. They are challenging to walk in, and with no free exchanges I'm stuck with them or have to pay to ship them back. Just be careful when ordering from here.

These boots are great for when you have to get out with the snow blower and deal with the Alberta Clipper plus Lake Effect snows here in Northeast Ohio. Keep my feet warm and dry!

I purchased these boots prior to a cold spell in Denver, CO in 2012 and was very pleased with them overall. They are decent looking, very comfortable, warm, and durable boots. Sure, they are a little heavy, but they are for COLD weather application. I did not feel that they were too "clunky" or "over bearing" to wear or walk in them. I needed them in -10 degree weather to keep my feet warm, and they did! I have not used them for snow shoeing or hiking in deep snow but have no doubt that they will provide plenty of warmth in the winter time.
What do you want for under $85 in a cold weather boot? They won't massage your feet while you walk, or make you feel like you're on a cloud. They will keep you dry, warm, and comfortable while wearing them. These should last me several years and that's ok with me for the price!
Answer
The entire boot is not lined with fleece, but is has a soft thick liner.

Question
“I wear a 9.5 4E wide shoe & boot most of the time. This says 1/2 sizes should order down, I'm wondering if I should consider these in a 10 instead.”

Answer
Unfortunately the Khombu Packer Winter Boots have a standard medium width. I do not believe ordering a 10 would make up of the difference in widths.

“The Specs indicate that the only waterproof material is 'rubber'. Does that mean that the canvas above the rubber is not waterproof, but water resistant or...?||Thanks, |Joe Gallagher”
