  • Question “Would you say to go a size bigger while purchasing these boots ? Are they tighter inside due to tick padding ?”
Asked on 1/27/2011 12:00:00 AM by Kevin from Grennwich, CT
    • Answer Kevin,||I would say no to that. I wear size 12 and ordered size twelve and wear some thick socks ( just one pair) and its great. The insulation and waterproofing of the khombu pacman boots are great and will keep you warm even with Cotton Socks!||good luck!
Answered on 2/8/2011 12:00:00 AM by highonrunning from Maine
    • Answer If it's the difference of a half size go bigger. For example I mostly wear 10.5, and the boots I got were 11 and snug. But even just a few days of wearing I felt the liner expanding.
Answered on 2/13/2011 12:00:00 AM by grandvizier from San Diego
    • Answer No. I got my usual size (9) and they're actually a tad loose in the toe.
Answered on 2/14/2011 12:00:00 AM by Joey Shemuel from NY, NY
    • Answer I did not go a size bigger. I believe the lining is sized, not the outside boot. My son is a 9 for all his shoes including soccer and baseball cleats, and that is the size we ordered.

  • Question “Can I but extra liners for these boots? Also I have a wide foot are thse narrow or wide?”
Asked on 1/22/2011 12:00:00 AM by bob from RI
    • Answer You should be able to use any removable liner that is similar. These are slightly wide.

  • Question “Do these have Thinsulate insulation?”
Asked on 12/28/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer Khombu uses their own insulation.
Answered on 1/7/2011 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer No. The tag indicates the liner is felt. I did not feel any insulation in the boot in either the upper (suede) or lower (rubber) parts.
