    These are great shoes, but they were so wide even with heavy socks that I had to send them back. I don't consider myself to have a narrow foot, as I've never had this problem with other shoes.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    They are OK, but not great. When I first got them white powder (like talc) appeared to leak from the seams. They are not that warm considering they are winter shoes. The sole wears quickly. I had them a month and the soles were worn enough that holes started appearing. Returned them to Sierra with no problem.

    The sole of these shoes wore through within a month of ordinary use (for general commuting so nothing extreme). Returned them, STP service exceeded expectations for this.

    These look so nice but beware of the fit. We had to return them, they were a size, if not more, too small and hit the top of the foot funny. They are also VERY narrow.

    I was looking for a replacement for some Salomon Snow Clogs that I have had for years. They are finally wearing out and you can't find them very easily any longer. These seem to have many of the same features and fit very similarly. The upper is a little stiffer than the Salomon's but also a little thinner. I have not had them in the cold yet but they claim to be similarly insulated, fingers crossed.
