These fit well, keep the cold and wet out, and grip snow and ice firmly. For those times when I'm walking around on a winter day and not working or traipsing through deep snow, these are perfect.

The only downside is the wear out kind of quickly. Yes I was wearing them all week(5 days) to work and they seemed to wear our after two months. But found them here and purchased another pair without even thinking about it.

They are finally wearing out and you can't find them very easily any longer. These seem to have many of the same features and fit very similarly. The upper is a little stiffer than the Salomon's but also a little thinner. I have not had them in the cold yet but they claim to be similarly insulated, fingers crossed.
