Khombu Snowhiker Winter Boots - Waterproof, Faux-Fur Lining (For Boys)

Our boys love them!

We purchased these boots for our 4 year old son. They are very nice & keep his feet warm & dry in the snow.

My kids need snow boots at school for recess and just for general snow play in the winter. I love this brand, this is probably the 8th pair of Sorel boots I have bought and they have always been awsome.

Great winter boots for any young fellow.

I was really excited about these boots until they arrived. The stitching on our pair was sloppy throughout, especially on the insoles, which had numerous 1-2" loose threads hanging off. The insoles came out very easily; I expect our son would have pulled them out and lost them, which is concerning because it appears that this boot depends on the insoles for insulation. The boot's nonremovable lining is very soft and my son was pleased with the way the boots looked. I was disappointed with the quality of workmanship -- they would likely last through one winter, and they aren't expensive for waterproof leather winter boots, but long-term durability is questionable. They feel pretty lightweight -- not as warm as the rest of our winter boots, nor as stiff. Perhaps worth considering if you don't live in a very cold area and are not into snowshoeing, but they would not work well for us. Sierra was great, as usual, about the exchange -- we switched for a pair of the Sorel Yoot Pac Nylon Boots and are very happy with those.
