not enough velcro on top of boot to fit snug, to prevent ice, snow, water, and cold air from entering. Soles of boot, too soft, can't step on hard surfaces likes rocks without feeling pain.

When walking in the snow they are very comfortable and warm.

Great shoe and even better value.

Had these boots less than 3 months. These are dry-weather boots only. Worn four times in the snow, for a total of no more than 3 hours, and my feet were soaking wet all four times. "Waterproof" should not be used at all to describe these boots. They are fair-weather boots, and definitely not waterproof. Also, sole is very thin and flexible. Every tiny pebble on the ground can be felt. It's like wearing household slippers outside. Not worth the cost to return for refund. In cold weather, I will wear them to go out and get the mail at the road, provided it has not snowed or rained, and I walk on the grass. I'm highly disappointed with these boots. I hope Sierra Trading Post removes every instance of the word "waterproof" so other customers aren't as surprised, and disappointed, as I was.
