I am a Florida girl, however, I went up into the Colorado Mountains for the first time and these are what I wore. Not only did they keep my feet warm and dry in the slushy( Late May) snow, but they kept this newbie from slipping and sliding as well. Oh,,,, and did I mention how cool they look!!! Great buy , great price!!!

Reviewed by southpaw from "missippi" on Thursday, June 06, 2013these fit more like a shoe than a boot. recently bought a pair. was unsure whether to buy normal shoe size; i chose my "duck" boot size (whole size smaller than shoe) - with a moderate thorlo sock the fit was too snug, for me. i have to wear my thin cushioned thorlo socks with these. size up, if you prefer thick cushioned heavy socks. went a half-size under my boot size (9). im used to the Trekker (lacrosse) ... it fits like a boot. its here at sierra too. they fit more llike a boot does.

Reviewed by pastorasta from new york on Tuesday, May 28, 2013I have had these boots for less than one year and I started noticing over time that my foot bending on one side when I was wearing them. Somehow my left foot was not flat anymore because one side of the bottom of the shoe was sloped on one side at the heel part. In fact, when I compare the heels of both boots I can see that the left boot has a shorter heel. It is a shame not to be able to walk straight in these boots, that otherwise seem so comfortable but they are not for me. When I have time, I will contact the manufacturer.
