    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I put it on a leather sofa. When Tara jumps up on it, it pulls to center so it's not much use. Needs long tails attached to back and sides to tuck under sofa cushions. It worked only a little better on my cloth sofa.I would return it, but I need something like it and will add velcro or something to try to make it work.

    Excellent quality product with comfortable but durable feel. Large size does a great job of covering most of a standard sofa. Put a couple of throw pillows at either end to deter your pooch from reclaiming unprotected sofa space. Could be less padded in the surrounding bumpers to allow more depth to piece for larger dogs.
