    This bed seems to be perfect for my 79 lb Golden Retriever. We've only had it a few weeks, but he is using it more each day. The cover seems soft and comfortable and it's the perfect size for our living room. It's small enough to be out of the way, but big enough for our dog to lie on comfortably.

    Bed of choice so now we have 3 of them. Oldest bed-about 5yrs-was chewed a bit by a new puppy (nothing is puppy-proof for some pups!) but just fine since sewn back at the edge. Our 52 lb, 62 lb and 75 lb love both the 40" and the 50". Haven't washed so cannot say.

    This is the second Kimlor bed we bought for our 65 lb dog. It is well-made, even better than the first we bought ten years ago, which only began to show wear on the cover a few months ago, despite 10 years of daily use. The cover comes off easily and can be tossed into the washer and dryer. It will be the last one we need for this dog, and will probably welcome a new pet in due course.

    The bed is large enough for my 80 lb. yellow lab to sleep very comfortably. I ordered the brown color, which was my fault, so because of his shedding, you can see a lot of the yellow hair on it. The cover feels very thick and was easy to stuff with the insert. I haven't washed it yet, but I can't imagine there will be a problem. Overall, I feel it is a great bed for the money.
