    The bed is large enough for my 80 lb. yellow lab to sleep very comfortably. I ordered the brown color, which was my fault, so because of his shedding, you can see a lot of the yellow hair on it. The cover feels very thick and was easy to stuff with the insert. I haven't washed it yet, but I can't imagine there will be a problem. Overall, I feel it is a great bed for the money.

    We love these beds for our medium sized dogs...and they love them too. They are soft and comfy like huge-oversized pillows and we pet owners know how our pets usually love pillows...or anything soft. The material is very durable. As a matter of fact, we had our original ones for 7 years and just bought new ones - the exact same ones because we were very satisfied.

    At first it was overly puffy & my dog was leery of it. After a week the loft is just right for my 50 lb shepherd mix & she is happy to sleep on it. We'll see how the loft holds up. The zipper is a little lightweight.I would alsolike to see a separate zippered liner ( like an allergy type pillow cover) for the inner cushion I like the outer cotton cover.
