Kimlor Insulated Curtains - 54", Tab Top

I bought these for my living room to help control light and heat. They work great and in addition great reduce noise from outside!

I ordered these for my theater room in my home thinking that because they were insulated that they would be heavier. They are a little too transparent and let more light in than I would like. If you are looking for a slightly transparent insulated curtain then this would be a good product for the money.

If hanging on existing rods, BEWARE as the top tabs MAY leave a space (1 1/2" in my windows)of window glass uncovered at window top. This diminishes light blocking and/or heat/cold loss management. The tabs have approx. a 7 1/2" loop, so unless you have fat rods, the curtains hang down lower over my windows than I expected using cheap, flat, white rods. Also, a caution to other "dummies" - the tabs (approx. 3 3/4" flattened) are included in the height measurement.

These curtains have been a great addition to my enclosed sun porch that gets unbelievably hot in the summer. They made a huge difference the first afternoon I put them up. Looking forward to seeing if they also keep the heat in once winter comes...

Great curtains, they are energy efficient, made well, keeps room dark. Great product.

These curtains were for a very picky college student, who was extremely pleased. A miracle. I did not want to spend a lot of money for something she would only be using one year. Everybody won!

these are basic but very effective at insulating windows, both to keep the sun out as well as keep the warmth in during the winter. They hang easily and meet together reasonably well.

The fabric is an irregular weave that looks sort of like like a linen. I got Spa Blue which is definitely not blue, but a clear green which I love. The curtains are very insulating. The only con is that where they are folded, the wrinkles are difficult to remove. I ironed mine with heavy steam but could still see slight evidence of where they'd been folded. I believe that after they hang a while, the wrinkles will relax. Hope so since I reordered and have nine pairs.

Nice, neutral green. Much shorter than expected, but just fits our windows anyways. Don't completely block light, but close enough.
