Kimlor Insulated Curtains - 80x96", Tab-Top, Insulated

I like the drapes, but no way they are spa blue; I'd call them sea foam green. I decided to keep them anyhow, after getting over the disappointment, because the color will work ok in the room, although not as well as the blue would have been.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT

I live in a vintage apartment in Chicago with very drafty windows. I was looking for insulating curtains which were also colorful, since I'm a renter can can't paint the plain white walls. These curtains were perfect. They totally block out light and drafts and are a very bright turquoise color ('spa blue').

We heat our house with a woodstove, and the Kimlor insulated curtains are such a help in reducing heat loss through our windows, and maintaining a more even temperature in the areas of the house far from the stove. A real lifesaver, in the recent below zero weather!

I bought these to match the valances I had already ordered from Sierra, but not to use them as curtains - I made a bedskirt out of them as I couldn't find a matching one. I'd hunted all over the internet looking for a more casual gold-colored valance and found the only affordable ones on Sierra. Thanks to Sierra, our guest room looks terrific!

These curtains are good. They are well insulated and attractive.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to drape a huge window wall, but it was a mistake to buy these. Granted, the price was low, but these are downright cheap. I could have done a lot better at [...] for the price and trouble. These arrived horribly wrinkled, and even an hour with my steamer didn't get the wrinkles out. The backing is cheap foam, so they can't be ironed. After they were up, I noticed that on one of the panels the foam had stuck together, leaving a light spot on one where the light shone through, and a darker spot where the layer of foam was doubled, looking like light and dark stains. It was a huge effort to hang these long drapes, and will be another one to get them down, but these are going back. I count on Sierra Trading Post for quality at a low price, but all I got this time was the low price. Awful.

This type of curtain is impossible to find in Europe and if you can find them they cost a fortune. Everything here is Grandma lace. These are perfect in our bedroom.

The two panels are not the same length. One is off by an inch. Switching the panels helped some so the difference is not as noticeable. The fabric is a bit on the cheap side, but the price was in line for the product.

Intended to use these throughout the house but they were a wrinkled mess. Steam ironed them three (3) times with almost no improvement. The fabric was very unattractive. Very sorry it didn't work out. Returned all.
