I bought this bed in both the green and brown color in July. Both arrived together but in different boxes. In 1 (big box) the bed was already puffed out, but the cover was still wrapped. The other one (medium box) arrived with the bed still compressed and cover also still wrapped. Sierra sent the ri...

I bought two of these large beds for our smaller mutts before deciding to get the jumbo ones for our two others, Bernese Mtn Dog puppies (10 months old). We were happy with the first two and they seemed pretty durable so I went ahead and ordered the other two for Christmas. I knew I was taking a chance since the male puppy likes to chew and, sure enough, the first night he had five holes in the cover. I told him that it was a bad thing and sewed them up (thankfully, they were all small). We've had no more holes but last night when they climbed into bed, I noticed that his zipper had split. I tried to back it up and re-zip but it looks like the teeth are messed up. Probably another meeting with puppy teeth. Disappointing since the beds aren't even a month old. I'm trying to decide whether to sew on some Velcro or order another cover. Yes, as others have said, the filling is a little week but, all-in-all, the dogs are happy with them. I guess, short of Kevlar, they are as strong a bed as I'll find. Oh well, I wanted big dogs!

Not at all what I had hoped for with such a high price tag. It is big, but we have his old, ratty, bed on top of it just to give it some cushion. Our sweet boy is 105#, and loves his beds...very, very disappointed with this bed as I searched for HOURS trying to find just the right one....
In it's "fluffed" state it is about 8-10" thick. In it's compressed state it is about 2-3".

It's polyfilled, so the filling moves around, but I'd say on average about 6"s. My rotties love it when I 'fluff' their pillows and they have 12" to tamp down doing circles to find the perfect spot. This is a great deal, and the doggies love it.

The dog bed is around ten inches without the dog being on it. Our dog weighs ninety five pounds and is tall and long he fit on the bed without problems and took to the bed well and uses it often ( it beats having him on the couch)

When we get products made in different countries we receive them in mixed batches. Unfortunately there is not a way to specify what country you would like your product to be from. Sorry for the inconvenience.

the product is vacuum packed and came in a box about 2 inches square. Once air hits the stuffing it balloons up.

It is packed in a bag that basically takes all the air out and shrinks the bed down really tight, the cover is in a seperate bag lying flat...the box isn't as big as you would think but once you start unwrapping the bed it expands. Great way to ship something this big.
