Verified Buyer Reviewed by MC from Atlanta, GA on Tuesday, October 9, 2012I haven't used this jacket for skiing yet but that is the intended use. I ended up buying the US size 10 based on other comments / reviews of the kjus running small. I'm 5'8" and 132 lbs. and normally wear a US 6 or 8 and I was nervous that the 10 would be too big. It does run small but I don't think it is cut small I think the conversion chart may be off. Anyway, this jacket will easily accommodate a base layer and sweater/fleece without being too tight. Someone noted that they thought the jacket was too short - as I mentioned, I'm fairly tall and the length of the jacket is just right (the same as my north face, patagonia and arc'treyx ski jackets).
- Best Uses: Cold weather, Snow skiing
- Pros: Design, Function, Style
Reviewed by Sammie from Mammoth Lakes, CA on Thursday, September 27, 2012At first glance I liked the pink color. I ordered a size 38 in pink, I am 5'9" 139lbs 35/26/39. The jacket fit on ok, felt a bit short in length. You can see lumps under the material from all the gadgets in the various pockets. The fact that it was not helmet compatible and did not fit over my Giro M women's helmet was the deal breaker for me.
- Cons: Material Shows Lumps, Not helmet compatible, Runs short, Wrist Too Large
- Pros: Inner Headphone Jack Hole, Pocket And Features
Reviewed by Toni from San Diego, CA on Tuesday, September 25, 2012In Kjus jackets, you usually have to size up, and think that the above review fit incorrectly due to sizing. I wear a size 6 in lifestyle fashion street clothing. I'm 5'1" and weigh 108 pounds. I wear a size 38 in most Kjus jackets. I wear a size 36 in the pants. The reviewer purchased a size 34, and she should have been in a size 38. Very few people wear the 34 or 36's. You have to leave room for layering, and the jacket should feel a little roomy when trying on over a t-shirt in front of a mirror. Some of the jackets are cut a little bigger in some areas than others. If that is the case, than one needs to find the correct model of jacket rather than go down a size. I'm very petite and the size 38's in most of the jackets fit me perfectly. Best to try on over your base and mid layers. The jacket has 4-way stretch to move with your body, but if it's too small you will feel it pull under the arms when you have on your layers.
Reviewed by Mighty Mouse from Whistler on Friday, July 6, 2012If this coat fits your morph then you will be very happy. I am 5'5", 105 lbs and the 34 didn't fit me like I expected it to.
- Cons: Flares weirdly at hips, Strange fit, Very short
- Pros: Great fabric, Nice bubblegum pink color, Technically very nice
