We live in MN and need a durable, warm & waterproof boot to get through our winters - especially for a kid who loves to be outside! She only wore this boot a handful of times and each time she came in her feet were wet & cold. The liner had a hole in it after a few uses & the boot started to melt in places when placed near a vent to help dry it out! These boots might be ok for a young child who spends only a little time outside, but not for an active school age child!!

Reviewed by MNparents from Cold Spring, MN on Tuesday, October 23, 2012We have not had the opportunity to test this boot to make sure it is waterproof, but my daughter said they feel very comfortable. The outer layer does make a little "crinkly" sound when she walks, but it's not loud enough to bother her. The liner comes out everytime she takes her foot out, which might be a little annoying, but it also makes it easier to make sure they are completely dry.
