This lightweight alternative to heavy steel-toed work boots looked great. The size 11 was too big for my feet so I bought thick inserts (a good idea anyway). My heel lifts out of these boats so I had to return them. A qualified recommendation ~ only if they fit.

my size was too large...the next size down was too small in the width. Steel toe makes it feel constricting to wide feet, & since they won't stretch out because of the steel toe, they just didn't work. They would be fine for a standard width foot & seemed very durable for hard working folks....like construction workers etc...

Boots worn for work. Are comfortable.Good price. The top lace loops didnt get sewn in, so when you try to lace them up the top loops pull out. Lucky for the top lace holes in the boots themselves. Would be unusable otherwise.

I bought these strictly based on weight and price. After reading the reviews I planned on them being sized wrong and using a padded insole to compensate. I use them to work in landscaping and weekend work, so I'm not a 10 hr a day guy, but I did like the steel toe after dropping a pallet on my toe last summer! Overall, they're a decent work shoe for what you are spending. Oh, yeah - the "decals" on the side of the shoe were coming off after several hours of work, but that didn't diminish the performance of the shoe.
