Broke in quickly and are pretty comfortable.....Not sure yet if they are warm enough for Wisconsin winter's....

provides good ankle support, as well as keeps feet warm.

comfort wise they stink the only good thing is the insert has really good padding.

I use them for outdoor physical work, including building/rebuilding stone walls.

I ordered them size 11 because 10 1/2 was not available. they are a bit long but not noticable and at this point I have no complaint.

My husband loves these! He normally wears a steel-toe, steel shank work boot for daily wear. He wanted something lighter, but still strong and supportive. He has bad feet (including a previous break), so a good, comfortable boot is really important to him. He is a stay-at-home dad who also cuts wood, works on cars, fixes anything and everything. He loved these the moment he put them on because they are lighter than his other boots but still supportive and comfortable on his feet, and they have steel toes. He wears them everyday. A great all around boot!! Weather hasn't been cold enough to comment on the insulation and only time will tell if they hold up well to the rigors of his life!

Good boot for the price - bought on sale. Co-workers may poke fun at the shine, but that will wear off soon. Lacing eyelets (no hooks) all the way up, tounge fold & tuck a little awkward at first. Stable and tough sole with good tread. Warm.

these boots have supple leather and broke in fast, but with no mid sole you can feel rocks through the soles and the soles flex to easily, I wouldn't recommend them for hiking in rocky country, but would work well on more forgiving terrain.
