Reviewed by Sophie's Mom from Houston, TX on Monday, February 4, 2013wow this jacket is so well designed (enclosed zippers, pockets), better than my "running" Goretex gear. I am a small female and size S works, its a little big but not enough to matter. AWESOME price for this item.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Scoundrel from Chesapeake Bay on Thursday, October 18, 2012The anorak has come in handy during rainy day paddles and general wet days on city streets. A pair of dry pants and you are ready for torrential downpours.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bill from Bridgeton, NJ on Tuesday, August 28, 2012We bought a pair of these jackets for a sea kayaking trip to Vancouver Island and they proved to be just the ticket. Although to our surprise it never rained, the velcro cuffs prevented water from dripping down our arms and they were roomy enough to layer any clothing needed. If it had rained and we stayed dry I'd give it a five!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Super guide from Charlottesville , Va on Tuesday, August 21, 2012This is probably my 30th or so shell , over 40 years and instantly my favorite...just a little heavier than other choices for backpacking , but just a little when the coverage area is considered . The tight sealing cuffs allow me to paddle a canoe all day with no drip coming down my wrists . Meticulous construction . Great looking . A shell that in any really tough situation would be what you want on ! I will use this for cold weather backpacking and any extended trip in remote areas that survival can be an issue . I have an extended wilderness trip in a month , and bought a second one for my wife !
- Best Uses: Extended paddle trips, Protection to the max
- Cons: Not ultra lite
- Pros: Adequate hood, Amazing cuffs, Beyond total coverage, Dialed in design, East access pockets that, Paclite fabric
