Comfortable, good in a mix of sun and wind. For cooler and wetter conditions I prefer my Kokatat Goretex paddling shirt, but for warmer but not too warm good weather days this is a great garmet. There is a huge vent on the back yoke of the shirt that helps keep you from overheating on sunny days. Pockets are not very accesible when wearing a PFD, but that is a fairly minor complaint.

Kokatat recommends going with the larger size if you're in the middle of two sizes. I found the larger size to too big, even with layers. Nice jacket, but it's not available in the size I need.

Kept me dry and easy to take on and off eventhough you don't really have to all the time cause it works over a long range of temperature. It is also a great advantage that it takes very little space in your bag and thus easy to take around.

The wrist closures were secure, the long-sleeved shirt I wore under remained dry after 3 hours of kayaking on the ocean. I tried hiking in this shirt, but it felt clammy. So, I'm not sure how it would feel for kayaking with no shirt underneath. I will take it along traveling and kayaking in Italy and Sardinia. I bought the men's medium, one for me, and one for my husband. A good value at the sale price.
