Kokatat TROPOS Light Breeze Splash Top - Long Sleeve (For Men)

i like the splash jacket but find it cut a little on the short side ..[...] the price was outstanding.

Perfect ltwt top for rafting or touring. Not having a double tunnel limits it's use for WW kayaking but a perfect piece for those in between days. I even wear mine to rainy soccer games or fall outdoor events....

Like all Kokatat products (I have one of their drysuits) this spray top is thoughtfully designed and very well constructed. Fit is perfect (they have very accurate size charts so make your measurements and trust what they say.) Fabric is soft and quiet (no rustling). Just used it Friday on a chilly windy flatwater stream run and was cozy and dry, not sweaty inside it at all, even under my PFD. I agree it would not be perfect for whitewater -- neck and cuffs are not tight enough, but for touring it's great. I plan to use it for biking and hiking too -- it rolls up small enought to fit in a pack side pocket and the brilliant orange is very visible for hunting season hikes (though I look like a fruit salad in my lime green kayak, orange jacket and PFD and red sprayskirt!)

I use this during cold weather to go kayak fishing. This is a good intermediate splash top I can wear in conjunction with my tropos 3 pants. The neck gasket works well but I feel it should have velcro mid way so you didn'thave to have it totally sealed in warmer weather.
