Was looking for a pair of adjustable poles for telemark skiing at a decent price. With my STP coupon, the price was reasonable. I like the foam grips and padded pole straps. The basket were ridiculous: faux leather strapped to a plastic circle. Oversized and cheesy, possibly good for snowshowing/hiking but certainly not for skiing. Also, the adjustability is listed as 37-1/2" (95.25cm) to 61" (155cm)... however, due to the placement of the power lock (at the bottom) and the tapered bottom section, the pole is unusable at 95cm. It packs down to 95cm, but can only be used at 120cm to 155cm. So these are useless to me- if I wanted a 120cm pole, I'd buy one! Very disappointing.

These snow baskets provide much better spread of the weight put on them than other hiking poles with "snow baskets." Although the poles are sturdy, there is little difference in weight between these and poles with less strength that I've bought before.
