“I've used these poles for a year and a half now, in summer and winter, with powder baskets added. In summer they're easy on my joints, the carbon fiber has some flex for shock resistance. So light, they're a pleasure to use. The locking mechanism is fussy, I had to retrain myself to use them. Don't unlock them more than necessary, and take them completely apart and clean them if they start to slip.”
