“Nice stiff, light poles”

“These are nice stiff, lightweight poles, especially given the price. Mine arrived slightly longer than was stated, but they're easy enough to cut down (or have a shop cut them). Weight after cutting was 438g/pair for 165cm length, including baskets and straps. In response to a previous comment: the straps do detach, but the first time you pull the black tie/yellow tab up, it takes a good hard pull. Subsequent releases are much smoother. The only drawback of ordering through a non-ski specific site is that I would have liked to be able to pick a strap size. Mine came with XL, and I usually fit M better.”
