Reviewed by BWCA Hiker from Minneapolis on Monday, March 31, 2014These are a great set of poles that are just as advertised. The poles are easy to operate and can adjust on the top or bottom section giving you the ability to make a quick top adjustment for hills without having to worry about the bottom section. The anti-shock adjustment is easy, and also can be done simply while on the trail.

Reviewed by givemoretakeless from davidson, nc on Thursday, February 6, 2014i like the extended grip zone and the clean look of these poles. the anti-shock feature is not a major advantage however. it makes a rattly noise and any shock absorbing property seems negligible. i don't mind the twist closures but can be tough to manipulate with gloves. i know from my previous k'dells that you need to keep them clean to preserve their tightening ability. the color i received was yellow which i wasn't crazy about. i wish STP would have been able to give me a choice of color.
Question & Answer
“Very interested but color is asst. If it is black or maybe a dark green or blue I am interested.
What we have on the shelf at present is silver with yellow lettering and accents.
“Mine came with no directions and Komperdell site is of no value. How does one turn on /off the anti-shock feature?”
Grip the top section with your right hand and the mid-section with your left hand. Turn the top section away from you with your right hand about 1/4" to turn on the anti-shock. You will feel a slight click. Turn the toward you about 1/4" to turn of the anti-shock. To do this the top and mid-sections have to be completely tightened.
The Anti-shock mechanism can be turned on and off. Thanks for asking.
“For travelling and packing this product in my baggage, I need to know the shortest possible length of this product. Men's poles.”
The shortest possible length is 29". Thanks for asking and have a great day.
