    They are good, solid poles to own. A lot better than rental poles which I am used to using. They are easily comparative to more expensive models, so save your money and buy these.

    These are great poles for a great price. Tough to beat it. The strap and handle system is simple and much better than the fragile breakaway straps. Grip not bulky. These come with an east coast-type smaller basket, which is fine for hard pack. I prefer larger pole baskets because I ski powder a lot, but I can swap out if needed.

    I bought these to use with other Komperdell baskets I have with my trekking poles. They are NOT compatible with those baskets and I returned the poles. THey seem like a good pole for the price.
