    Very comfortable fit - other balaclavas feel more tight and have too small of an opening. Much more omfortable than other brands when the front is pulled down below the chin. Only con is the additional wind noise when bicycling. This isn't a problem for hiking or snowshoeing.

    Seams stay nice and flat under skiing helmet. Not too warm - just right for cold weather skiing. I don't think it would be warm enough for extreme weather skiing, but that is not why I bought it.

    This Balaclava easily stretches to fit a large head but it consists only of a thin layer of shiny fabric. I can't imagine that it will be very warm. Although described as fleece it isn't. Maybe I was fleeced.
