When I tried out these poles, I was surprised at their robustness. The aluminum shafts give all the support I need and inspire confidence when balancing in a tricky move where a pole slip would mean a nasty fall. They are also comfortable to carry on a long hike. The locking mechanism is the standard twist lock with I think a better grip than my old poles.

Great product for an excellent price. We use these for splitboarding. They are super lightweight and collapse down small enough to fit into the backpack. All we did was change the baskets to the snow type (which are really affordable too) and they were ready to hit the backcountry!

Came missing one of the baskets. Was not any where in the packaging. Read the reviews -- they are easily lost! Guess it popped off in the warehouse. Ordered some more. Will Shoe Goo & look at a retaining tie to the pole. Other wise looks like great gear. Have not used yet.

These poles are nice and light, a good step up from scavenged walking stick . They are very easy to adjust, and the marked lengths make greeting the same height every time super easy.
