    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
These are 125 cm Nordic walking poles and not the 110 cm expected for a 43" pole. These are designed for someone about 5'10-6'1". The rubber tip does not completely the metal point that is very sharp. They might work if you know you use a 125 cm pole and you do not usually walk on asphalt.

I have limited mobility due to a hip condition, and using these walking poles has made it possible for me to venture back onto my favorite hiking trails with added confidence. A great form of exercise. Works the arms nicely and you can get a nice rhythm going.

These Walking poles are featherlight, appear durable and should last a long time. They have a quick release for the hands and are easy to use overall. The metal tip makes noise on the road even when you have the rubber "shoe" on the pole. I am considering just covering the tip with ductape or so. Other than that a wonderful product. I/ we might buy another pair soon.

These are great hiking sticks. For years I used beefier, heavier poles, thinking that's what I needed for multi-day backcountry backpacking but I found that I used my poles mostly for maintaining a good cadence, crossing streams, and occasionally for keeping my balance on rough trails. These fit the bill at considerably less weight. These swing quickly and weigh next to nothing,
