    Got these to replace an aging set of Atomic slalom race poles (aluminum). I noticed the tip had difficulty sticking in the crusted snow when I put my skis on; in part due to the whippy nature of the poles. They are a bit too flexible for my liking. As far as durability, we'll see....

    The grips had to be glued back on after a few days, and the baskets broke off and had to be replaced after about a season. The poles themselves are great though. Very durable yet flexible.
