Has about 100 mile life

I used these on the 220 mile John Muir Trail. They helped absorbed impact while hiking over granite and other hard rocks. They're a great deal for the price especially when combined with one of the deal flyer coupons. They lasted for about 100 miles each before they ran too thin and the tip of the trekking pole busted through. I ran across a lot of PCTers whose trekking poles were completely destroyed by the 900 mile mark. I think a fresh one of these in every resupply bucket would help prevent that. I would use them again.
